Swallows were reportedly close to signing the former Tambuti striker and allegedly paid a deposit of over E25 000 for the player, before the police side tabled a better offer. \u201cSwallows are hot under the collar following the latest developments and feel disrespected. They want to take the matter further. Apparently, close relatives have advised the player to opt for the Leopard offer. He has agreed terms with the latter, but is yet to sign on the dotted line. Swallows are making a last ditch effort to block the Leopard move,\u201d alleged an impeccable source.<\/p>\n

The player, who scored over 10 goals in last season\u2019s MTN Premier League campaign, was reportedly a free agent before Leopard made attempts to snatch him under Swallows\u2019 nose. The \u2018Birds\u2019 won the first game 2-0 against Middelburg, with Sizolwethu \u2018Nunu\u2019 Shabalala scoring a brace to become the match hero. Umkhonto KaShaka recorded a 3-0 win in the second match against TUT, with \u2018Neymar\u2019 netting a brace of his own before Neliswa \u2018Tiger\u2019 Dlamini put the last nail on the rivals\u2019 coffin.<\/p>\n

Swallows Public Relations Officer (PRO) Knowledge Ngwenya said he was not aware of the developments, as he was still waiting for reports from the team management after the past weekend\u2019s activities.
