Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>World Vision (WV) and its local technical and vocational education training (TVET) partners gathered at The George Hotel to officially certificate 306 graduates who have been empowered with lifetime capacity through WV Eswatini\u2019s vocational skills programme on Thursday, 25 August 2023.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was part of an effort to equip people, especially the youth, with skills that will help them become entrepreneurs as unemployment is still a problem in Eswatini.<\/p>\n

The WV Eswatini\u2019s National Director stated, \u201cThese qualifications will enable you to open doors to success, while permanently closing the door to lack\u201d. The organization, together with its partners, successfully trained the graduates in various skills such as plumbing, sewing, catering, welding, and de\u0301cor, with the aim of bringing sustained well-being to the children within families and communities, especially the most vulnerable.<\/p>\n

The graduation ceremony was a celebration of the graduates\u2019 hard work and dedication. From gallery walks displaying what they have learnt through TVET to fashion parades. The WV Eswatini team congratulated the graduates and wished them success in their future endeavours.<\/p>\n
