Interested candidates can apply using this link Apply: https:\/\/bit.ly\/45umWwR and note that Deadline for application is September 10, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEswatini Bank is expanding its investment in the agriculture sector which is highly vulnerable to extreme weather events due to reliance on rainfall. In support of the Bank\u2019s vision on climate action and sustainable development, UNDP is seeking the services of a consultant to support Eswatini Bank to obtain accreditation as an NIE and thereby qualify to apply for funds and implement projects financed by the GCF,\u201d reads the Communique.<\/p>\n<p>The accreditation process is designed to check if an entity has fiduciary, environmental and social and gender policies and procedures and demonstrated evidence of implementing these policies and procedures. The application form for accreditation for the Green Climate Fund comprises various specifications.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBackground and contact information of the applicant entity.<\/p>\n<p>Information on the ways in which the institution and its intended projects\/programmes will contribute to furthering the objectives of the Green Climate Fund. Information on the scope of intended projects\/programmes and estimated contribution requested for an individual project or activity<\/p>\n<p>Proposals should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline. Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.<\/p>\n<p>Aspiring applicants were asked to indicate whether to intend to submit a bid by creating a draft response without submitting directly in the system.<\/p>\n<p>This will enable the system to send notifications in case of amendments of the tender requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShould you require further clarifications, kindly communicate using the messaging functionality in the system.
