Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Manzini town is currently a hive of activity thanks to the official opening of the 2023 Eswatini International Trade Fair.<\/b><\/p>\n

From the first 200 people who arrived and received a free t-shirt, noodles and hair extensions to the litany of service providers stationed as business stalls. The day keeps getting better.<\/p>\n

His Majesty having arrived an hour ago has not yet addressed the eagerly waiting crowd, estimated to be over a thousand.<\/p>\n

There are different people from all different walks of life who have come to witness a beautiful event that is going to run for the next eight days.<\/p>\n

As you walk in from the gate which is free entry by way, you are welcomed to a variety of service providers who have left the comfort of their offices and are at Manzini trade fair.<\/p>\n

Heading the smooth programme is Minister of Commerce Industry and Trade Manqoba Khumalo, who is clad in a red Lihiya. Khumalo has kept the crowd informed and entertained all the while showing much deserved respect to their Majesties.<\/p>\n

There has been a number of entertainment that has taken place from traditional dances, poetry, drum play and singing performances .<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is great to be here Eswatini come on now and dance with me,\u201d said Master KG when he took to the stage shortly before His Majesty King Mswati III made his grand entrance.<\/p>\n

A performance from South African Law Ndlunkulu also set the tone for the rest of the day, she had people dancing up a storm and cheering on despite the scorching sun.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini addressed the nation shortly before paving the way for his Majesty.<\/p>\n

\u201c We all know it has been a while since we had the Trade Fair and we are so happy to see so many people come out,\u201d said the PM.<\/p>\n

He went on to say the Trade Fair was going to be a grateful platform for business people, entrepreneurship and the youth.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur biggest challenge was that we had to turn some businesses away because we had reached a full capacity. This is a challenge that could become an opportunity as the government,\u201d<\/p>\n

The PM went on to ask the King to speak and address the eagerly waiting crowd.<\/p>\n
