Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Journalism is a noble profession that impact the society through information, any effort to mislead the Nation must be condemned and discouraged.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Eswatini Observer, one of the State propaganda machinery is making a mockery of journalism with its uMhlanga reports.<\/p>\n

Our culture has been politicized and used to mislead the masses with exaggerated numbers, just to twist the people\u2019s minds into believing that, people love and endorse Mswati as their preferred Head of State.<\/p>\n

The truth is; Mswati does not have the following he claims to have, those numbers estimated to be less than twenty thousand(20000) are enhanced by members of the security forces.<\/p>\n

We can identify soldiers and police officers who left their children at home to wear indlamu and dance during the uMhlanga Reed Dance just to boost the numbers.<\/p>\n

But, despite those efforts, the numbers cannot reach one hundred and twenty thousand(120000), even the First National Bank(FNB) Stadium in South Africa cannot accommodate that number.<\/p>\n

The FNB Stadium, one of the biggest in Africa, can only accommodate nine-four thousand, seven hundred and thirty-six(94 736).<\/p>\n

But, why should we even compare the Ludzidzini Stadium with the FNB, let\u2019s go to the Somhlolo National Stadium, it accommodates less than twenty thousand(20000) football fans including the no man\u2019s land.<\/p>\n

In light of the aforementioned, let me state categorically that, the eSwatini Observer\u2019s uMhlanga report is not only a mockery of journalism but, an insult to the intelligence of the masses.<\/p>\n
