Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Two aspiring Members of Parliament (MPs) under Mhlangatane Constituency in the soon to be ushered in 12th parliament ensured that the six people who died from the poisoned indayela at Mhlangatane received a dignified burial yesterday morning.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was after the two aspiring MPs in outgoing Mhlangatane MP Madala Mhlanga and outgoing Mhlume MP Victor Malambe, who are now competing against each other for the some position under Mhlangatane Constituency; both came through for the affected families concerning their sad ordeal.<\/p>\n

First it was Mhlanga, who took the responsibility of taking the bodies people to Dups funeral Home and also bought the coffins.<\/p>\n

Not only that, but Mhlanga went on to buy groceries for the families, among other funeral expenses. Early this week, Mhlanga confirmed to our sister publication that he indeed contributed by taking the deceased to Dups and also buying the groceries.<\/p>\n

He went on to urge others who were willing to support the families to do so, Meanwhile, Malambe bought four beasts that were slaughtered during the mass funeral. Not only that, the aspiring MP also bought groceries for each of the affected families.<\/p>\n

Their contribution was greatly appreciated by the families, more especially the Ndwandwe family where the suspect had allegedly poisoned most of the edible iteams within the homestead.<\/p>\n

Three of the Ndwandwe family members who died from the poison were buried yesterday morning, where throngs of people from Mhlangatane and surrounding areas came to pay their last respects.<\/p>\n

Among them was the widow, Elizabeth Magagula-Ndwandwe and her two grandchildren. This funeral was followed by that of Busisiwe Magagula-Mvila, who was also buried yesterday.<\/p>\n

Busisiwe was related to Magagula-Ndwandwe and their homesteads are within the same neighbourhood.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that the Ndwandwe clan is buried before sunrise and it was the case with the deceased where they were buried at around 4:30am yesterday.<\/p>\n

Use of lights and torches was the order of the day at the gravesite, where the three graves were adjacent to each other at the burial site.<\/p>\n

The service was conducted by the Apostolic Church from the area, while that of the Mvila members was conducted by the Zion church also from the area.<\/p>\n
