This was revealed by Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority Managing Director Sibani Mngomezulu when speaking about the 2023 Eswatini International Trade Fair which was officially closed today.<\/p>\n

The closing ceremony was officiated by His Excellency the Honourable Prime Minister Sipho Cleopas Dlamini, who was represented by Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade Mancoba Khumalo.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the closing, the Minister appreciated the diversity of high quality exhibitions across different sectors. Especially noting the high number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises who exhibited throughout the ten days of the fair.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were also very happy to see that families in particular were very well catered for to their heart\u2019s content, because our amusement park was fully subscribed. We also got a directive from Hs Majesty with EIPA, saying that let this be a constant feature in future trade fairs,\u201d said the Minister.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also saw Government services that were interacting with the private sector and understanding what people required from Government services and state-owned enterprises. It was an amazing opportunity to walk into the EEC stall and talk about how EEC can make it easier for them to do business,\u201d added the Minister, citing similar benefits with business people who interacted with the Eswatini Revenues Services Stall at the Trade Fair.<\/p>\n

The Minister also applauded the numerous business seminars hosted by FNB Eswatini.<\/p>\n

The Minister\u2019s sentiments were echoed by other speakers at the event, who included Dennis Mbingo, CEO of FNB, Nozizwe Mulela, MD of Eswatini Bank and Samuel Mdluli, a member of the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) Board of Directors. FNB and Eswatini Bank spoke in their capacity as sponsors of the EITF, while EIPA spoke in their capacity as event organisers.<\/p>\n
