Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Nkilongo Member of Parliament(MP) was on Friday kicked out of Parliament by Speaker Petros Mavimbela in the midst of a stand-off over a budget for the construction of a new Parliament building.<\/p>\n

The political tension was triggered after some MPs who were in support of Myeni suggested that the budget should be frozen while others wanted it approved.<\/p>\n

In the midst of a stand-off among the MPs, Speaker Petros Mavimbela then used his powers and ordered the MP out of Parliament.<\/p>\n

“I have made my final ruling, Honorable Member from Nkilongo I kindly request you to leave the house,\u201dsaid the Speaker.<\/p>\n

Outside Parliament after being kicked out, MP Timothy Myeni described the Speaker as a dictator who overruled everything.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Speaker doesn’t want us to debate the budget,we wanted the money to be placed on Head 60 since Swazis don’t want the New Parliament. What makes matters worse is that Government wants to add R800 million on top of the R1.6 billion loan.The Speaker wants to overrule every resolution made by the House”, said the Nkilongo MP.<\/p>\n
