Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Home Affairs Princess Lindiwe has expressed her enthusiasm for the E-Visa and Permit System stating that it is the cornerstone of Eswatini\u2019s digital transformation efforts.<\/b><\/p>\n

During the launch the Minister said the project will revolutionise the visa and permit application process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both applicants and the government.<\/p>\n

Minister of Home Affairs delivers her Speech in the inauguration of the the E-visa and permit system<\/p>\n

The new system leverages cutting-edge technologies to provide an integrated and user-friendly platform for individuals and businesses seeking visas and permits.<\/p>\n

By eliminating the need for physical paperwork and manual processes, the E-Visa and Permit System promises to significantly reduce processing times, minimise errors, and enhance transparency.<\/p>\n

In a significant step towards digital transformation and improving the ease of doing business in Eswatini, the E-Visa and Permit System is aligned with His Majesty the King\u2019s vision for a first world Eswatini and the government\u2019s strategy to enhance the country\u2019s business environment.<\/p>\n

This digital initiative aims to streamline the issuance of visas and permits while preventing malpractice and enhancing efficiency.<\/p>\n

Minister Lindiwe emphasised the positive impact this digital transformation would have on Eswatini\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy embracing technology and digitising visa and permit services, we are creating an enabling environment for foreign investors, tourists, and skilled professionals,\u201d she stated. This will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of the Kingdom of Eswatini,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The collaborative efforts between MoHA, ICT, RSTP, and the private sector were instrumental in the successful implementation of the E-Visa and Permit System.<\/p>\n

The project team worked diligently to ensure that the platform adhered to international standards of security and data protection, safeguarding the privacy of applicants.<\/p>\n

stakeholders involved in the development of the -visa and permit system.<\/p>\n

As the new system becomes fully operational by October 31, 2023, the government anticipates a surge in visa and permit applications.<\/p>\n

To meet the increased demand, the Ministry of Home Affairs has introduced comprehensive training programs for its staff to effectively navigate the digital landscape and provide seamless support to applicants.<\/p>\n

The launch of the E-Visa & Permit System marks a significant milestone in Eswatini\u2019s journey towards becoming a digitally advanced nation.<\/p>\n

By harnessing the power of technology, the government aims to enhance efficiency, attract foreign investment, and promote strong economic growth.<\/p>\n
