Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Like wings of a bird, it would seem Mbabane Swallows and Archbishop Bheki Lukhele are meant for each. The \u2018Beautiful Birds\u2019 look set reunite with their former President Archbishop Bishop Lukhele in the new season.<\/b><\/p>\n

A source within the Swallows camp revealed the elders and the Management committee are in talks with Lukhele over his possible return to the capital city giants. The team is still using some of assets Lukhele despite his shocking exit in the team at the end of last season.<\/p>\n

Some of the assets include the Mercedes Benz sprinter, club house and the training ground situated at All Nations church in Zion in Ezulwini. \u201cThe Bishop is still loyal to the team as we are still using his assets and Elders are still engaging him to rejoin to the team and we are adamant that talks will be concluded very soon. We are grateful for his support which contributes immensely towards the day to day running of the team,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

Swallows Public Relations Officer (PRO) Knowledge Ngwenya confirmed the news. \u201cWe are currently in talks with Bishop Lukhele and we are confident that the talks will soon come to fruition. The President return to the team can bring stability on a number of aspects in the team such as wage bill and we value his current contribution in the team,\u201d he said. Lukhele could not be reached for comment at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

The red and white glamour side is currently under the leadership of the management committee (MC) led by Chairman Masotja Vilakati. The crowd pullers recently beefed up its squad with several players such as Mancoba \u2018Nciba \u2018Vilakati, Ncomo Gina and the Congolese pair of Leon Bombo and Aristoze Tamuzi, among others.<\/p>\n
