{"id":34240,"date":"2023-09-22T15:05:03","date_gmt":"2023-09-22T15:05:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eswatini\/?p=34240"},"modified":"2023-09-22T14:28:03","modified_gmt":"2023-09-22T14:28:03","slug":"unpredictable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eswatini\/all-news\/unpredictable","title":{"rendered":"UNPREDICTABLE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span><b>CAPITAL city giants Mbabane Swallows and Mbabane Highlanders are set to cross swords in front of an estimated 5 000 fans tomorrow.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This will be during the MoMo Cup play-offs to be played at Mavuso Sports Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the players, including those who enjoyed playing for both teams in the Mbabane Derby, have predicted that the weekend clash would be won by the better prepared side.<\/p>\n<p>The good thing about this derby is that there are no underdogs and both teams go into the match relatively even.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is really difficult to pick the winner, but the results of past Cup competitions favour Mbabane Highlanders.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I see the game being played at high tempo, but unlike the previous derbies, this will be an entertaining encounter,\u201d said Sandile \u2018Theo\u2019 Motsa, who once played for Swallows before moving to Manzini Wanderers.<\/p>\n<p>He said the better prepared team would win on the day.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is always difficult to predict such games. The good thing is that players need no motivation in such games.<\/p>\n<p>They are always motivated by the fact that this is one of the big games in our football calendar. May the best prepared team win. One thing for sure is that this will be an entertaining encounter,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Defender Sanele Mkhweli, who has played for both teams, said this would be an exciting match.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will be a tough match. I know for a fact that there is no easy match between these two teams. I just hope we will watch a great match.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said both teams were from the pre-season having played one Premier League match which would make this derby fair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just wish both teams the best of luck. It is difficult to pick a winner in this match,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Mbaya Katala said he could not pick a clear winner as it was still too early in the season to tell which side had the upper hand.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is a tough fixture for both teams as it&#8217;s a derby and both teams will be highly motivated to win it. This is one of the biggest games on the calendar and honestly may the best team win. I can&#8217;t say who will win as we haven&#8217;t seen enough from both teams to know who will be victorious,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Encounters<\/p>\n<p>He further said this match was the kind that could put a player on the map and in the manager\u2019s plans for the season, so all players would be doing their best on the field.<\/p>\n<p>Mlungisi \u2018Madzala\u2019 Ngubane, who also played for both teams, said he would give it to Highlanders based on their past encounters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHistory favours Highlanders as they have won more past encounters than Swallows.
