Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span> YOUNG Buffaloes reclaimed third spot in the MTN Premier League log standings after outclasing Rangers 4-0 at King Sobhuza II Stadium yesterday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The army side needed strikes from Sandile \u2018Saviola\u2019 Gamedze and Allie Matse and Sifiso \u2018General\u2019 Mazibuko to remain third in the title chasing pack with 33 points after 17 matches.<\/p>\n

The visitors were off to a bright start as they drew first blood nine minutes into action. Strike This was after a spectacular strike from Sandile \u2018Saviola’ Gamedze, who connected a \u2018General\u2019 Mazibuko pass with a timely volley that went past the home side goalkeeper, Mduduzi Mngometulu. The army side nearly doubled the lead a minute later through winger Bongwa Matsebula, who missed a sitter inside the box after a good interchange of passes.<\/p>\n

The match took a swing afterwards as Rangers invaded the opposition\u2019s half in search for an equaliser. Rangers\u2019 striker Siphamandla Mhlanga nearly leveled after the half hour mark but his strike was saved by Buffaloes goalkeeper Phumlani Ngobese. The rookies kept on pressing as Sibonelelo Mhlanga forced a desperate save from Ngobese six minutes before break.<\/p>\n

The match went to halftime with Buffaloes enjoying a slender 1-0 lead. The visitors double their advantage six minutes into restart through a blistering shot from Mazibuko at the edge of the box, much against the run of play.<\/p>\n

The former Mbabane Highlanders winger completed his brace two minutes later with a timely header from a Sibonelo Sibandze cross. Rangers looked dismantled after the third goal as fatigue the better of them. Buffaloes\u2019 second half substitute Allie Matse put the final nail on the Shiselweni outfit coffin six minutes from time with a simple tap in from a Lizwe Zwane deflected pass to make it 4-0.<\/p>\n
