Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Elections Boundaries Commission (EBC) Commissioners have called for calm and kindness among people who have come to vote and \u2018bogalajane\u2019.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was after a commotion ensued at St Paul\u2019s Methodist Church in Manzini, where people were being forcefully removed from lines citing that they were not from the area or community.<\/p>\n

The sad act was performed by a number of \u2018Bogalajane\u2019 who demanded that EBC remove the said \u2018imposers\u2019 to which EBC said it was not possible.<\/p>\n

EBC Commissioner Rejoice Ndzinisa said people ought to practise kindness.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we did the validation of the voter\u2019s roll we wanted to avoid such instances, where people are being told they are not from the area they are voting for. There is nothing much we can do now because the voter roll is final. Can people just be kind,\u201d said Ndzinisa.<\/p>\n

Worth mentioning is that the voting process across the country has been a monumental one as over a hundred thousand people have been casting votes all over the country.<\/p>\n

Security has also been made tight which alludes to the best behaviour of voters. The process has been smooth sailing so far. Lobamba Nkhanini and Somnjalose stand out so far for being the fastest polling station where lines are quickly attended to.<\/p>\n

Some polling stations saw an increase in the number of voters during the lunch hour. While at other polling stations voters are already leaving after successfully casting their votes.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, more ballot boxes are being added at Lamghabi primary school under Hhukwini, as more voters come in. The polling stations are to be divided into two in order to decrease the queue outside.<\/p>\n
