Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The United States of America (USA) Embassy is hard at work, empowering and enriching the lives of emaSwati.<\/b><\/p>\n

The past week has been a give of activity, starting with the 19 brilliant young entrepreneurs who graduated from the BizInnovator Entrepreneurship Educational Program at the Mbabane American Corner.<\/p>\n

Following the esteemed University of Iowa entrepreneurship curriculum and with the support of a $10 000 grant from the American Spaces program, the team of facilitators led by YALI alumnae Dorcas Lukoji and Bertha Sithole , empowered these exceptional young people with valuable business skills such as problem-solving, branding and leadership.<\/p>\n

Charge\u0301 d\u2019 Affaires Earl Miller said the Embassy believes in the power of young minds to shape the future.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese graduates are the embodiment of that potential. As we celebrate their accomplishments, let us also recognize the importance of supporting them in their journey,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

In addition he said together they can empower a new generation of game-changers who will shape the world for the better.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a College Fair hosted by the Embassy was a huge success, attracting over 400 students and parents from all over Eswatini.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere was electric as attendees were greeted with endless opportunities and valuable insights into higher education in the U.S.<\/p>\n

\u201cA shootout to our amazing volunteers who represented their alma maters with pride and excellence. We are immensely grateful for their time and effort in making this event a success,\u201d he said .<\/p>\n

Worth mentioning is that the Ambassador\u2019s Special Self Help Program is making a difference, driving change and fostering positive change throughout Eswatini.<\/p>\n

Through the program, many communities have benefited from facilities such as new classrooms, administration blocks, toilets, clinics and recreational and sports centres. They mentioned that they are proud to have invested over $250,000 in Eswatini in the last five years.<\/p>\n

This publication reported last week that 48 extraordinary young minds graduated from American Spaces Carbon Capture Robotics program.<\/p>\n

USG program Alumnus Titus Mandla Sithole conducted the STEM program, delivering weekly workshops in both American Corners in Mbabane and Manzini.<\/p>\n

The graduates of this prestigious robotics program have spent countless hours outside of school, exploring the fascinating realm of robotics and harnessing their knowledge to address one of the most critical challenges facing our planet today: carbon capture.<\/p>\n

Their creativity shone bright, and the Embassy extended their heartfelt congratulations to each and every graduate for their remarkable accomplishments.<\/p>\n

And the best wishes to the five students who will be representing Eswatini early next month in Singapore in the First Global Challenge 2023.<\/p>\n
