Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>SITSEBE Samhlekazi head coach Zwelibanzi \u2018Botsotso\u2019 Khoza said the slow start in both halves was a worrying factor after their 2-1 win over Madagascar in the Hollywoodbets Women\u2019s COSAFA Championships clash on Wednesday.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was during their opening match against Madagascar played at Lucas Moripe Stadium.<\/p>\n

Khoza said this was exactly what happened in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers clash against Bukina Faso where they conceded early goals.<\/p>\n

While they did secure the three points, Khoza was worried by the team’s slow start in the first and second half. \u201cThe opponent\u2019s approach was exactly what we planned for but I was confused as to how we failed to deal with them.<\/p>\n

I think we started very slow. For about 20 minutes they were on top of us, especially in the first half,” Khoza said after the game.<\/p>\n

“We needed to get a goal to break the ice and then we settled a bit. And as soon we were settled, we started playing much better because we wanted to keep the ball. When we keep the ball and wait for the right moment to attack, Tenanile Ngcamphalala was always availing herself,\u201d Khoza said.<\/p>\n

He said they needed to improve in the next match.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur next opponents will punish us if we continue with this attitude. We will be going into the next match with a positive mind set and I am sure we will do well,\u201d said Khoza.<\/p>\n

Sitsebe will face-off with Malawi in their second game tomorrow before taking on Banyana Banyana next week Tuesday.<\/p>\n
