Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>4Eva Cycling Club Principal Clinton McNamara has announced a E100 000 sponsorship from Treetops, for the 2 Fast 2 Furious race. The event was held at MA Offices, Corner Plaza on Friday. The 4EVA Cycling Club is set to host the renowned race on November 25, 2023, at the MA Ranches, in the Lubombo Region. Worth noting is that there are other sponsors which will be communicated in due course. The event is scheduled to have different categories in the main race such as 96km, 76km, and 32km for adults, and then 10km and 5km will cater for the children. McNamara appreciated Treetops Game Resort for the sponsorship. \u201cOurs today is briefly to thank the sponsor, Mrs Dlamini from Treetops and the whole cycling fraternity for the gracious offer they have given us,\u201d he said.<\/b><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Treetops, Lungile Dlamini, shared the history of their relationship with 4Eva Cycling Club. \u201cMcNamara approached me in 2021 and requested to use the dilapidated place, having liked the road. He was the first person to see the potential of the resort that had closed down during the COVID-19 pandemic. I\u2019m trying to say that the partnership goes back and has been fruitful,\u201d Dlamini said. Eswatini Cycling Association (ECA) President Sifiso \u2018Zwide\u2019 Ndwandwe showed gratitude to Treetops Game Resort for the sponsorship. \u201cAs the sport\u2019s governing body, we would like to appreciate the generous sponsorship from Treetops Game Resort. The partnership between the establishment and this event has been nothing short of inspiring, as we have watched both the place and the event grow in tandem,\u201d Ndwandwe said.<\/p>\n

The president further applauded the 4Eva Cycling Club for their great work in improving the sport and the support in every cycling event. \u201cI would also like, in particular, to commend 4Eva Cycling for the work they continue to do in developing the sport and the support they continue to show for every other cycling event in the country\u201d, the ESA president added.<\/p>\n
