Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>In another show of loyalty and commitment to the local business ecosystem, Eswatini Beverages Limited (EBL) has moved up to take the gold membership package of Business Eswatini, thus lodging them into the category of premium members.<\/b><\/p>\n

The upgrade occurred just days before a recent event where EBL made an investment into the Business Eswatini brainchild, Vukani Bomake Project.<\/p>\n

Speaking through their new Country Director, Doreen Tumureebire, EBL said the gold membership status would give renewed and increased impetus to Business Eswatini.<\/p>\n

Prohibitive<\/p>\n

She said it would enable BE to drive their mandate in a more effective manner as she understood that the advocacy and social investment activities of the organisation are prohibitive.<\/p>\n

\u201cUpgrading with BE was not a difficult decision for us to make because I have been made aware of the number of great initiatives that Business Eswatini has engaged in as they look after our company and the players in various levels of the beer value chain\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Tumureebire also elaborated that EBL would, going forward, open up themselves as far as sharing their regional experiences with BE with the hope that they would leverage these experiences in their endeavour to positively impact policy.<\/p>\n

In response, Business Eswatini CEO, E. Nathi Dlamini said BE was excited by the move made by EBL.<\/p>\n

He commended EBL for recognising the importance of Business Eswatini\u2019s services to the entire economy. He further said by taking up a more meaningful package, EBL had opened up a plethora of premium services which would be afforded to them by BE going forward.<\/p>\n

Over and above taking care of EBL, the CEO assured them that a share of their contribution would be allocated towards serving the smaller companies within EBL\u2019s value chain who did not afford to pay subscriptions.<\/p>\n
