Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The Mambatfweni Water System has opened up new opportunities for families in the community, thanks to a recent delivery of 10m by 10m fencing rolls to 50 different households by Mahlangatsha Area Programme.<\/b><\/p>\n

This benefaction is aimed at encouraging families to venture into backyard gardening, an activity that is possible since the Mambatfweni Water System has become operational.<\/p>\n

With the ability to grow their own sources of food, families are now empowered to address immediate food needs while also providing sustainable options for the future.<\/p>\n

This initiative is part of World Vision Eswatini\u2019s Livelihood and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Technical Programme, which successfully provides water to around 900 people in the Mambatfweni community.<\/p>\n

World Vision Eswatini\u2019s Manzini-Hhohho Cluster Manager, Simanga Mkhombe says that the integration of these technical programmes is crucial in ensuring that children are well-nourished across their programming reach.<\/p>\n

With the ability to grow their own food, families can now put healthy meals on their tables while positively impacting the environment.<\/p>\n
