Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Eswatini Conference of Churches (ECC) has expressed confidence in Bishop Zacharia Mthethwa that he will deliver on their mandate and calling of the position of the bishop.<\/b><\/p>\n

ECC President Bishop Robert Kasaro passed the message of support and confidence in Mthethwa during the consecration ceremony at Manzini Metropolitan Evangelical Church recently.<\/p>\n

The president was represented by Apostle Elijah Dlamini.<\/p>\n

Kasaro said they were confident that Bishop Mthethwa was up to the task, as well as the huge responsibilities which comes with the office of the Bishop.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe office of a bishop comes with great responsibility because it often entails presiding over a wider territory as well as mentoring many church leaders.<\/p>\n

However, we are very confident that Bishop Mthethwa is equal to the task and we trust God to continue to lead and guide him to new heights.<\/p>\n

The Eswatini Conference of Churches welcomes him to his new role in ministry and pledge our utmost support,\u201d he said. He said they had observed the Voice of the Church director grow in his calling and faith. He further displayed great leadership qualities.<\/p>\n

The faith and dedication he had shown while serving and walking with God gives them comfort that he will be a good steward and additional tool in God\u2019s workshop.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis leadership qualities in ministry have been very tangible, especially in his role as Director of the VOC Radio.<\/p>\n

Under his leadership, the station has attained remarkable transformation and today it has become the unassailable medium for gospel ministry in the country,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Presiding over the consecration was President of APAC Bishops College, Bishop Zikhali. The service was also graced by a number of bishops, including Bishop Pato, Bishop Mfinca and Bishop Mngomezulu, among those who came from South Africa.<\/p>\n

Locals included Dr Nash Shongwe, Apostle Justice Dlamini, Bishop Thami Zwane, Bishop Vincent Hlatshwako and Reverend Anthony Matsenjwa, among others. The Mthethwa family and close relatives, including Zachariah\u2019s wife and children were also in attendance.<\/p>\n
