Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Princess Lungile says she is open to once again welcome and happy to listen to offers from Mbabane Swallows on a role the team may deem appropriate for her.<\/b><\/p>\n

The former Birds boss responding to suggestions there may be calls for an SOS from the Birds camp regarding her returning to the fold. Princess Lungile told this publication that she was open returning to serve the team and help salvage the faltering capital city giants.<\/p>\n

The princess said the people who took over the running of the team knew what to do in the event they were failing to run a team of Swallows stature.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am more than willing to listen to Swallows people, but things should be done appropriately.<\/p>\n

We all know how the team was grabbed from me, and it is only fair that they do the right thing if they want me to listen to their pleas,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The princess said Swallows people knew where to find her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI do not want to say if I am ready to come back or not, but my hands are open.<\/p>\n

If this is what the people who took the team from me are saying, then I am ready to listen.<\/p>\n

I am exactly where they left me when they took the team,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The respectable businesswoman held the reigns in the team after the demise of her husband in 2018 before she relinquished power to Arch-bishop Bheki Lukhele.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, stand-in Board Chairperson Masotja Vilakati also expressed concerns about the team\u2019s absence of a director.<\/p>\n

He made it known that he was willing to engage the former club president, Arch-bishop Lukhele and the princess on the team’s stand.Lukhele stepped down before the start of the new season, citing personal reasons.<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s recent struggles have led to some people suggesting that these were as a result of internal problems. The \u2018Beautiful Birds’ are fresh from playing to 1-all draw against police side Royal Leopard over the past weekend.<\/p>\n
