Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>World Vision Eswatini visited Luve to teach the community members on how to grow and prepare traditional foods in a healthier way for themselves and their families.<\/b><\/p>\n

It is said that this is to ensure that every child enjoys enough nourishing food so they can thrive. Every child deserves the food they need to develop a healthy body and mind and it is every family\u2019s responsibility to be able to put enough of the right food on the table.<\/p>\n

A post from the organisation\u2019s post mentioned that this would be achieved through TAVI (Taiwan-Africa Vegetables Initiative) that hosted a cooking demo activity through World Vision Eswatini. \u201cCommunity members were taught by Home Economics Officers (boLomakhaya) from the Manzini region the importance of growing their vegetables, and the correct, healthy way of cooking them\u201d, reads the post.<\/p>\n

It was also said that in support of the project World Vision, through its Livelihood Technical Programme, donated 30 rolls of 10mby10m to some of most vulnerable Luve community members. This benefaction\u2019s intent is to encourage people to venture into backyard gardening, an activity that will ensure that they have sufficient food.<\/p>\n
