Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Human rights organizations joined the Swaziland Rural Women Assembly(SRWA) and marched to the Deputy Prime Minister\u2019s Office on Friday demanding that Gender Based Violence(GBV) be declared a national disaster.<\/p>\n

During the march, Bonsile Mamba, the Chairperson of the Swaziland Rural Women Assembly said the march was part of the efforts to end Gender Based Violence(GBV).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe march is about demanding that the Deputy Prime Minister\u2019s office declare Gender Based Violence as a national disaster,\u201dshe said.<\/p>\n

Other organizations that joined the march include One Billion Rising, the Swaziland United Democratic Front(SUDF), the Swaziland Action Group Against Abuse(SWAGAA), Kwakha Indvodza, Swaziland Massacre Victims and Survivors Association(SWAVISA), the Swaziland National Association of Teachers(SNAT,) the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) and the Foundation for Social and Economic Justice(FSEJ).<\/p>\n
