Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The legendary Mahhotela Queens delivered a memorable performance at House on Fire during the Siyalu Entertainment\u2019s show on Friday night.<\/b><\/p>\n

The South African Mbaqanga and Umgqashiyo legends proved that music never dies, as they rendered some of their oldest compositions, including the likes of \u2018sagiya\u2019 and many other songs.<\/p>\n

The audience sang and danced along throughout their performance.<\/p>\n

The group, clad in their traditional Zulu outfit, set the house on fire with their energetic performance, which kept crowd on the dance floor.<\/p>\n

Despite that the group, formed back in in 1964, is now left with only one of the founding members, Hilda Tloubatla, they were able to impress music lovers as the replacements of the two departed members were up to the challenge as displayed through their stage presentation. The group was happy to be back in the kingdom.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am shocked and humbled at the same time to witness such love and support from the people of Eswatini. The Kingdom was like home to us because we used to get many gigs here back then when the group was still complete.<\/p>\n

We came many times with Mahlathini and the love and support we received was amazing. What impressed me the most is that most of the fans were youthful but they know our songs very well,\u201d said Hilda Tloubatla the only surviving founding member.<\/p>\n

The 83-years-old Hilda and the two youthful members who were coopted to replace the late Nobesuthu Mbadu and Amanda Nkosi gave the fans a best showing as though it were the original group.<\/p>\n

Mlindo The Vocalist did not disappoint his fans as he gave his best performance.<\/p>\n

He performed hit songs such as \u2018Amacala\u2019, \u2018Imoto\u2019, \u2018Amablesser\u2019 and \u2018Ngithanda Wena\u2019 among other tracks.<\/p>\n

Clad in mastered T- shirt and white pair of jeans, with gold and white Nike sneakers, Mlindo seemed to be more comfortable mingling with his fans as he would frequently leave the stage to interact with the crowd.<\/p>\n
