Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The struggle continues for Royal Leopard in the TOTAEnergies CAF Confederation Cup group B.<\/p>\n

They lost their fifth successive game 2-3 against the Libyan side at Martyrs of February Stadium, Benina, Libya. The police ensemble remains bottom of the log without a point after five games and they play Algeria\u2019s JS Saoura in their last game. Leopard\u2019s exit in the competition was confirmed when they lost 0-3 against South Africa\u2019s Orlando Pirates last week, Sunday.
\nThe win saw the host jumping to the summit, a point ahead of Orlando Pirates who have played a game less. The Soweto Buccaneers were due to face Algerian side, JS Saoura last night.
\nAl-Ittihad has 10 points after five matches.<\/p>\n

Easy<\/p>\n

It was never going to be an easy game for Leopard as they lost the first leg game against Al-Ittihad Tripoli 1-2 at Mbombela Stadium, South Africa, and their goal was scored by the opponents but yesterday they were brave enough to score two goals away. They showed great character in this match as they scored two goals through South African striker Thabiso Mokenkoane and defender Bongani Dlamini.<\/p>\n

In yesterday\u2019s game, Al-Ittihad Tripoli were handed a penalty at the stroke of half-time after a foul by defender Bongani Dlamini and it was converted by Senad Al Werfalli who beat goalkeeper, Ncamiso \u2018Mbhonyo\u2019 Dlamini hands down and the game went for a breather after the goal. They went to the break enjoying the 1-0 lead. In the second half, Leopard turned the tables as they equalised two minutes from the hour mark through Mokenkoane. The former Highlanders striker was back again as he assisted Bongani Dlamini for the second goal as \u2018Ingwe Mabalabala\u2019 took the lead in the 66th minute. Al-Ittihad continued to pile pressure and they were back at it, equalising in the 70th minutes through Mustari. In additional time, Al-Ittihad\u2019s Senad Al Werfalli was a hero as he scored the winning goal, completing his brace to send his side to the top of the table.<\/p>\n
