Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>A documentary known as \u2018Cage of Dreams\u2019, which tells the story of a young Liswati named Thokozani Motsa, premiered on November 9 in Gainesville, United States of America.<\/b><\/p>\n

Motsa said the documentary was to showcase the difficulty that children had in growing up in environments that did not nurture their talents or their visions.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was initially created to give the picture of how difficult a Liswati child is brought up and how they navigate. Every child has a dream they want to achieve.<\/p>\n

They still keep dreaming but the challenges of life may hinder that dream. When they do not have the right platform, that dream can die and it takes someone special to see that dream through,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The documentary was directed by Thabiso Motsa and Josh Batchel.<\/p>\n

He added that the film came about due to him being part of a non-profit organisation \u2018Adventures in Missions\u2019. He added that the story was told mainly because the organisation had the objective of helping people reach their dreams.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was part of an organisation called Adventures in Missions. I told that story because that organisation is functional in Eswatini to help children reach their dreams. The entity is an NGO,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Motsa added that he had the privilege of actually travelling to America to be part of the launch and added that the experience was more than he would have ever imagined.<\/p>\n

\u201cI went there, and I have been away for the past two weeks. It was a great experience because I never thought I would go to America. It was never even part of my vision,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on highlights of the trip, Motsa claimed building a network base and having his perspective broaden was something he would always cherish.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe building of networks and getting to see how life can be was a highlight for me. When you look at how I grew up and where I am now, I thank God,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He added that he would like to continue on the path of story-telling and would like to continue pursuing the film industry so long as he was given the platform.<\/p>\n
