Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Sincendile Dlamini,the suspended Chief Procurement Officer in the Ministry of Health allegedly travelled to South Africa with seven hundred thousand Rands(R700,000.00) cash to deposit a BMW X3 M Competition,an investigation reveals.<\/b><\/p>\n

Documents in our possession suggest that,on or around the 21st May 2021,the suspended Chief Procurement Officer who stands accused of colluding with suppliers including SwaziPharm Director Kareem Ashraff to loot millions of public funds,crossed the boarder with the said amount in cash to deposit the BMW thus violating the Anti Money Laundering laws,the BMW was purchased at Dada Motors in South Africa.<\/p>\n

But close analyses of the documents suggest that,the BMW M Competition 2020 Model worth R3million with Chases number WBSTS0204LA57221 and engine number J0033323 was purchased as a second hand and as a result, Dada Motors discounted it for the troubled Chief Procurement Officer to R1,630,000.00.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, as the documents suggest,the vehicle was then registered under Isley Investments(Pty) Ltd, a company that was \u201callegedly used\u201d by Sincedile Dlamini and her husband Thembela Magwaza as a conduit to loot more public funds.<\/p>\n

Manager at Dada Motors who identified himself as Mohammed declined to comment and referred comments to another Branch at Benoni.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease contact the Benoni Branch for a comment,\u201dhe said and subsequent efforts to contact the Benoni Branch proved unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

A questionnaire was sent to Sincendile Dlamini,the Chief Procurement Officer in the Ministry of Health however,she had not responded at the time of compiling this report.<\/p>\n

But Thembela Magwaza,the alleged husband to the suspended senior government official was fuming when asked on Monday evening about an equally questionable purchasing of a 911 Porsche car worth R2million.<\/p>\n

Eswatini is facing a health crisis amid looting of public funds, that resulted to the shortage of drugs in public hospitals,hundreds have died since the crisis erupted, which was triggered by fraud and corruption.<\/p>\n

But Mduduzi Matsebula,the newly appointed Minister of Health when responding to this publication on Saturday evening, pledged to support all legitimate initiatives aimed at solving the health crisis.<\/p>\n
