Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span> Members of the Swaziland International Solidarity Forces(SISF)emerged at Msunduza and opened fire against police officers who were brutalizing protestors.<\/p>\n

This comes less than 24hours after the Commander of the Solidarity Forces told this publication that action will now speak louder than words after Mswati\u2019s police shot, abducted and assaulted protestors on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

It has been disclosed that the protestors were brutalized by the police again on Thursday at Msunduza where they had gathered in support of incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube.<\/p>\n

Resigned police officer Sergeant Cebile Cece Shongwe confirmed the shooting of the police adding that by 11:30pm on Thursday, police officers from the Operation Support Services Unit(OSSU) were deployed at the capital city, Mbabane to search for the Solidarity Forces.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have just confirmed that the shooting occurred, as we speak, an OSSU truck full of police officers is leaving Lobamba for Mbabane to search for the Solidarity Forces,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

An eye witnesses said she saw a person who emerged while the police were busy shooting civilians and fired straight at the police officers.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the police officers who was driving a police car later drove in a high speed running away, he was lying on the steering as he drove-off, I\u2019m sure he was injured. On another note, the Commander of the Solidarity Forces confirmed the shooting.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s true that we shot the police, they later called a back-up after learning that they were people with guns at Msunduza,\u201d said the Commander.<\/p>\n
