Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span> Jacobus Annandale, the Supreme Court Judge who was hearing the bail appeal of the incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube has urged the Nation to pray for them as they prepared the judgement.<\/p>\n

After hearing submissions from the applicants and the Crown, Judge Annadale reserved the judgement and urged the Nation to pray for them so that they can deliver a fair judgement.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe appeal for prayers so that we can deliver a fair judgement,\u201d said the Supreme Court Judge.<\/p>\n

After the hearing of the appeal, Sicelo Mngomezulu, a South African Correspondent Attorney representing the pro-democracy MPs said the judgement has been reserved.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis means we will hear from the Judge once the judgement is ready. We noted that the Judge urged the Nation to pray for a fair judgement,\u201d said the lawyer.<\/p>\n

The MPs appeared on Friday for their appeal after being denied bail by Judge Mumcy Dlamini who was allegedly acting on an instruction from King Mswati.<\/p>\n

According to an electronic evidence released by this Swaziland News, Jeffery Shabalala, the then Army Commander revealed that King Mswati issued a command to arrest the MPs merely for demanding democratic reforms, the MPs are facing terrorism charges.<\/p>\n
