South African musician Danger remains committed to carrying on the esteemed legacy of Big Nuz, even in the face of being the sole remaining member. As the current lead singer of the renowned Kwaito group, Danger has taken it upon himself to preserve the group\u2019s influential presence. Following his captivating performance in the kingdom, during a private function on Saturday, Danger sat down for an interview with this publication. He candidly expressed the challenges of upholding the Big Nuz name as the sole member.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhile it has been difficult, I am determined to continue pushing forward, even though I am the only one left,\u201d Danger shared. \u201cThough I have encountered a few obstacles, I am grateful for the unwavering support from those who still show us love.\u201d Reflecting on his experience performing at the celebration in the kingdom on Saturday, Danger expressed his gratitude for the invitation. \u201cI am truly thankful for the prince\u2019s invitation. Whenever I am in Eswatini, I feel an overwhelming sense of belonging. The people here always welcome us with open arms, and I am grateful for their support,\u201d he expressed warmly.<\/p>\n

Project<\/b><\/p>\n

Furthermore, Danger encouraged fans to stream their latest album, titled \u2018Last Man Standing,\u2019 which was released earlier this year. \u201cI urge our fans to visit the digital stores and stream our latest project. As December approaches, we are also focusing on securing bookings and we will evaluate the possibility of releasing another album next year,\u201d Danger explained. When asked to share advice to local musicians or those pursuing a career in music, Danger emphasised the importance of respect for the industry and established musicians. \u201cUpcoming artists, as well as those already making an impact, should show respect for the industry and their fellow musicians.<\/p>\n

Patience is key; they must wait for their time to shine. However, waiting for the right opportunity doesn\u2019t mean they should sit idly but, they should engage in other endeavours alongside their music careers,\u201d Danger advised. In a separate interview, Maskandi musician also from South Africa, Khuzani expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to expand his horizons and gain recognition beyond the borders of South Africa. The sensational \u2018Ijele\u2019 hitmaker, who also performed at the celebration, was the first SA musician to grace the stage on the night of the event.<\/p>\n

Appeal<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cMy name is reaching new corners of the world and gaining recognition abroad. When it comes to marketing my music, I aim to transcend borders and appeal to music lovers worldwide. It\u2019s not just about Maskandi or its dedicated fans; it\u2019s about connecting with the people who appreciate music,\u201d Khuzani explained with enthusiasm. As Danger and Khuzani continue to make their mark in the music industry, their dedication, resilience and willingness to explore new territories serve as an inspiration to aspiring musicians and fans alike. With each performance, they open doors for South African music to reverberate across the globe, leaving an indelible footprint on the international stage. It is also worth noting that the event saw another SA music heavyweight, Dlala Thukzin hit the stage and kept the attendees dancing up a storm for a set that lasted for over an hour.<\/p>\n
