Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Outgoing Rwandan High Commissioner to Eswatini, Claude Nikobisanzwe says Eswatini plays a pivotal role as a second home for numerous Rwandans.<\/b><\/p>\n

Nikobisanzwe expressed these sentiments during a farewell meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Pholile Shakantu,<\/p>\n

\u201cThe substantial presence of Rwandans working in Eswatini embodies our enduring, cordial relations,\u201d remarked Nikobisanzwe, reflecting on the collaborative spirit defining the diplomatic engagement between the two nations.<\/p>\n

Minister Shakantu echoed Nikobisanzwe’s sentiments, commending the bilateral cooperation across various spheres.<\/p>\n

Shakantu said the successes achieved in various cooperative endeavors stand as evidence of the enduring camaraderie and commitment between Rwanda and Eswatini, setting the stage for continued cooperation and shared growth in the years ahead.<\/p>\n

\u201cI genuinely appreciate the warm relations between our two nations, marked by cooperation on multiple fronts,\u201d she said. Shakantu extended best wishes to the outgoing High Commissioner for his future endeavors.<\/p>\n

Both diplomats acknowledged the significance of sustained collaboration and reaffirmed their dedication to further enhancing the bilateral relationship between Rwanda and Eswatini.<\/p>\n

Recently, Prince Sicalo, the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, and Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF) Commander General Mashiki lisana Fakudze visited Rwanda to bolster military collaboration. The engagement was aimed at sharing experiences, strategies, and contributing to regional stability.<\/p>\n

During their visit, the Rwandan military delivered presentations offering insights into the country’s transformation journey. This impressed the local delegation, which commended their counterparts’ security dynamics.<\/p>\n

Prince Sicalo and UEDF commander general also paid tribute to the victims of the genocide against the Tutsi at the Kigali Genocide Memorial site.<\/p>\n

This gesture was noted by the Rwandan military as a symbol of mutual respect for history and the pursuit of unity and peace within and beyond national borders.<\/p>\n
