Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The main Incwala is drawing nearer as His Majesty King Mswati yesterday moved to dance the Little Incwala at Mbangweni Royal Residence in the Shiselweni region.<\/b><\/p>\n

As per the norm in recent years, His Majesty King Mswati III moves with the Little Incwala to other royal residences which include Ngabezweni, Mbangweni, and Buhleni where he commissions Tingaja to go to Ngabezweni Royal Residence to prepare for the cutting of the sacred Lusekwane shrubs.<\/p>\n

As the King moves with the Little Incwala to other royal residences, Her Majesty the Indlovukazi dances the little Incwala at Ludzidzini Royal Residence with regiments, members of the royal family and the public.<\/p>\n

Acting Governor Indvuna Themba Ginindza, who was joined by regiments at Ludzidzini, said the impressive attendance at the Little Incwala, which entered its seventh day, was living proof that Emaswati were not swayed by dissenting voices and they remain true to the Tinkhundla System of Democracy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe impressive attendance is living proof that Emaswati love their King and culture,\u201d said Ginindza.<\/p>\n

Former minister of Tinkhundla Administration and Development and current Sigwe Member of Parliament David \u2018Cruiser\u2019 Ngcamphalala said he was in awe after witnessing the blissful Little Incwala ceremony. He said it was also pleasing to note that thousands of Emaswati and a handful of tourists had attended the Little Incwala which was danced at the Ludzidzini Royal Residence despite the King moving to the Shiselweni region.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe numbers show how much people love the King and culture. I would like to encourage all fellow citizens to also attend the Incwala to witness the beauty of Eswatini culture first hand,\u201d said Ngcamphalala.<\/p>\n

Minister of Public Service Mabulala Maseko, whose portfolio mainly involves looking after the interests of civil servants, encouraged government employees to also partake in the sacred Incwala ceremony.<\/p>\n

He said it was important for every citizen to make time to pay homage to Their Majesties and Eswatini culture. \u201cThere is no excuse for not paying allegiance to the King and culture which serves as a unifying factor for the kingdom,\u201d said Maseko.<\/p>\n
