Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>MANZINI Wanderers trio of Sphamandla Dlamini, Manqoba \u2018Spider\u2019 Maseko and Sihle Mkhonta will face the DC after shunning the team\u2019s activities.<\/b><\/p>\n

The players were reported to be AWOL just two days before their match against capital city giants Mbabane Highlanders last Saturday at Mavuso Sports Centre where they played a 1-1 draw.<\/p>\n

It was reported that the trio abandoned the team\u2019s activities and went to play in a stokvel match in the neighboring South Africa.<\/p>\n

It remains unclear if they will be available for the team\u2019s match against Manzini Sea Birds at Mavuso Sports Centre on Saturday. Manzini Wanderers Chairman Berger Nxumalo said they would have to explain their behaviour to the team\u2019s DC.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe players will face the Disciplinary Committee for their unacceptable behaviour. We will obviously not let the players get away with this because it will set a bad example to the others. We have a lot of youngsters who look up to the senior players. I do not know why they decided to let the team down. This is not acceptable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The chairman further said the team was faced with other serious challenges to be confronted with such behaviour from the senior players.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope the DC will deal with this matter accordingly.\u201d<\/p>\n
