Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>ESWATINI Conference of Churches has hailed the humility and visionary leadership displayed by Bishop Vincent Hlatshwako, the founder of Rest in Christ Ministries.<\/b><\/p>\n

The ECC said Bishop Hlatshwako has made meaningful contribution to the organisation since he became a member. President of the organisation, Bishop Robert Kasaro said Hlatshwako has interacted with many members of the organisation and impacted them positively.<\/p>\n

He was speaking through Dr. Eric Muzi Dlamini at the double celebration of the Rest in Christ Ministries founder at his church in Mbikwakhe on Saturday. Kasaro described Bishop Hlatshwako as a resourceful member who has interacted with many church leaders of all age groups.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn all of his service to the Conference of Churches, he has demonstrated humility, decisiveness and visionary leadership. By this kind of service, he has demonstrated over the years,we have seen the tremendous growth and development of the Conference of Churches in an unprecedented manner,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Bishop Hlatshwako celebrated the attainment of a doctorate in Christian Business Administration as well as the Bishop\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have indeed been a jewel of our time in so many ways. You have groomed leaders, pastors and evangelists who have gone out to lead and to teach the word of God so dynamically and so powerfully.<\/p>\n

We have seen the establishment of new Rest in Christ Ministries branches under your guidance and leadership, a sign of growth and improvement of the church in Eswatini. We have every reason to rejoice and thank God for such a wonderful gift in you,\u201d Dlamini said.<\/p>\n

He said the bishop had proven to be a victor by overcoming all the challenges he faced since he started ministry and while pursuing his doctorate.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of the challenges were life-threatening, not just to you but the whole Rest in Christ family, yet in all of those situations you were able to steer the Rest in Christ ship into still waters, weathering all the storms and coming out victorious and confident of a better Rest in Christ Church.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a true leader you have been bishop. I\u2019m reminded of the biblical Nehemiah who in rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, never stopped building amidst much opposition from Tobias and Sanballat, but continued building and defending at the same time, and that is what we have seen you doing in your leadership of the church,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the bishop\u2019s wife Pastor Busi Hlatshwako said as a family they have witnessed the sacrifices the bishop made to pursue his passion.<\/p>\n

She said late nights spent on books and manuscripts, weekends devoted to experiments and data analysis were some of the hallmarks of his commitment. \u201cToday is not just a celebration of my husband’s individual success; it is also a testament to the unwavering support we have provided each other throughout our lives together.<\/p>\n

Behind every successful person stands a loving partner who offers encouragement during moments of doubt and celebrates triumphs as if they were their own. As we gather here today to honour my husband’s achievements, let us also acknowledge the incredible network of friends and family who have stood by him every step of the way.<\/p>\n

Their love and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping him into the remarkable scholar he is today,\u201d she said. The service was attended by church members, bishops, church leaders and scholars, including Bishop Zachariah Mthethwa, Dr. Mandla Dlamini, Apostle Elijah Dlamini, Prophet Khulani Mamba, Reverend Senzo Hlatshwako and Dr. Oliver Museka, among others.<\/p>\n
