Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The Emergency Services has assured emaSwati that they will provide emergency health assistance during the festive season.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was shared by the Director of Emergency Services, Masitsela Mhlanga today on EBIS. He said they have brought help closer to the citizens of Eswatini because the number of road accidents and other cases that need medical attention have increased since the festive season started.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have ambulances on stand-by in almost eight of the roads that we have categorised in the country. For example, we have one along the Motshane \u2013 Piggs Peak road, Piggs Peak Madlangempisi road to name a few,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He further applauded the Sincephetelo MVA fund for supporting the Government of Eswatini with ambulances because there was a gap in that area in the previous years but now the gap is closing because they stepped in.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are already using the ambulances from MVA and I would like to promise emaSwati that these vehicles are well maintained and ready. Anyone can use our toll-free 977 number and get whatever medical help they need because ambulances are available,\u201d said Mhlanga.<\/p>\n

Mhlanga mentioned that they will also find a way to work collaboratively with their partners including General EMS, firefighters and the Royal Eswatini Police Services to work effectively during the festive season.<\/p>\n
