Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>With Christmas just around the corner, World Vision got back in touch with projects and families at the Malindza Refugee Centre on Thursday.<\/b><\/p>\n

During Christmas time, gift donations are a way of spreading the festive spirit, even to those in need. World Vision Eswatini, through its Gifts-In-Kind sector, has put smiles on about 500 children and adults at Malindza Refugee Centre. This camp accommodates refugees and asylum seekers.<\/p>\n

It was gathered that the donations included baby clothing, hats, clothing, pyjamas, toys, soccer kits and soccer balls. The organization posted on their Facebook page that their vision this festive season is for every child to experience what Santa might look like.<\/p>\n

According to their website, the products used in the World Vision Gift-In-Kind program are excess products from different companies which they give back to the community mostly because newer product lines made older models obsolete.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis program helps the charity to achieve its mission which is to end extreme poverty while achieving corporate social responsibility goals and providing much-needed resources to people in need,\u201d reads the website.<\/p>\n
