Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>AFTER being heavily linked with Mbabane Swallows where he trained for some days, Vovovo central defender Thami Zulu has joined Royal Leopard.<\/p>\n

The lanky South Africa-born defender started training with the police side at the beginning of this week. Apparently, Zulu, who also played for Manzini Wanderers, had signed with Swallows a week ago, however, he has since been released after the return of the red and white giants\u2019 foreign duo of Kingsley Kwakyi and Bashir Mutanda last week.<\/p>\n

Other international players at Swallows are Seido Blandja and James Nguluve.<\/p>\n

Leopard Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Frank Hurube confirmed that Zulu belonged to them and expressed appreciation to Vovovo for the smooth negotiations in the movement of the player.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe will be with us until the end of the season, and then we will take it from there in terms of a longer term engagement. All the papers are now with us. He is already training with the team and he will add value to the club,” he said. Zulu is expected to reinforce the Leopard\u2019s defence, especially after the fitness concerns on the side\u2019s injured pair of Machawe Dlamini and Sikhumbuzo Magagula.<\/p>\n

Zulu joined Vovovo at the beginning of the season and was key in the Motshane-based side where he was handed the captain\u2019s armband.<\/p>\n
