This grand opportunity is provided by the Ingwenyama Cup, sponsored by Sincephetelo Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (SMVAF).<\/b><\/p>\n

This was revealed on Thursday, during the tournament\u2019s last 16 draw. Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chairman Mark Carmichael represented by Hhohho Regional Football Association (HRFA) Chairman Dr Comfort Shongwe urged fans to come in their numbers during the finals to create new possibilities. Shongwe said they had also noted the pressure in social media on the stadium. Fans this week shared stadiums designs they had in mind on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe would like to request teams\u2019 marketing and public relations officers to work hand-in-hand with us in pushing the drive towards filling up Somhlolo, more especially during the finals. This will be a sign to the authorities that the stadium is no longer big enough to contain the numbers, hence the need for a new one,\u201d Shongwe said.<\/p>\n

He thanked government for the sportsmanship of allowing the utilisation of Somhlolo, while it was still under rehabilitation. The chairperson said it was of great help and hoped that by the time the finals come, the facelift will be nearing completion.<\/p>\n

Commitment<\/b><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Ingwenyama Cup, Prince Hlangabeza, said it would be a great idea if the campaign was centred on filling up the stadium, as a commitment towards the elimination of road accidents in the country this year.\u201cI\u2019ve heard the wish to fill up the stadium. Wouldn\u2019t it be beautiful, if say, we will fill up the stadium to take an oath that there would be no accidents throughout the year?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, SMVAF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) David Myeni said they were delighted by the conduct of fans at stadiums and after games. As the slogan of the tournament goes, \u2018avoid the mourning after\u2019, Myeni said there were no road accidents or violent acts involving fans reported from the last 32 matches.<\/p>\n
