Manzini Wanderers Board of Governor and Legal Advisor Bongani \u2018Bhanyaza\u2019 Mdluli has challenged Tambankulu Callies boss Sithembiso \u2018Ngudze\u2019 Mamba for standing for elections in the Premier League of Eswatini Executive vacant position.<\/b><\/p>\n

The PLE will go to the polls today at Sigwaca House to fill the vacant position left by Rudolf Matsenjwa after he sold his team status, Tambuti to Ezulwini United.<\/p>\n

Mdluli has since lodged a complaint to the PLE and Ethics Committee, saying Mamba is out of line for the remarks he made in challenging the eligibility of the other candidates, especially after the Ethics Committee had vetted all of them.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has come to my knowledge as an PLE election candidate that the above mentioned official has written an undated letter to the PLE wherein he makes contemptuous statements which are aimed at bringing the name of football in particular the PLE, EFA, Ethics Committee, Appeals Committee into disrepute.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe aforesaid letter is filled with contempt in that it seeks to undermine the judgement and or decision of the Appeals Committee of December 22 which according to the EFA constitution has a final effect on all football matters in Eswatini.<\/p>\n

It is common cause that the Appeals Committee pronounced clearly that Mr Mdluli who is a Manzini Wanderers BoG representative is eligible and competent to stand for elections.<\/p>\n

The leter from Mamba boarders on contempt and undermines a judicial structure of the Eswatini Football Association which expect the PLE to take the appropriate action as it brings the PLE into unnecessary disrepute.<\/p>\n

The Appeals Committee is the highest judicial decision making body that decides in such matters and anyone not satisfied can only approach CAS.<\/p>\n

\u201c Lastly, since it\u2019s common knowledge that Mr Mamba is currently out on bail, he must step aside until his criminal case is dully finalised by the courts in fight of the present circumstances,\u201d reads the letter also copied to Ethics Committee, EFA, Sitsembiso \u2018Ngudze\u2019Mamba and Appeals Committee.<\/p>\n
