This is the Leadership Growth Forum (LGF) as it is setting the tone for the year by hosting the Inaugural Ambrose Dlamini Memorial Lecture, themed \u2018Servant Leadership in Business; The Lived Experience and Legacy of a Corporate Giant\u2019.<\/p>\n

Dlamini, who passed on in January, 2021, was known for his impeccable leadership skills- especially during his tenure as Nedbank and MTN Eswatini lead.This first-of-its-kind event is set for January 19 at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA), Kwaluseni Campus, at the IDE Lecture Theatre from 5.30pm. Entry is free.<\/p>\n

Keynote speaker of the much-anticipated memorial lecture is South African-based Academician and Business Management Consultant Professor Rasoava Rijamampianina.<\/p>\n

Rijamampianina holds a Doctorate Degree in Accounting and Auditing from the National Institute of Accounting Science and Business Administration (INSCAE) in Madagascar, an MBA from Otaru University of Commerce in Japan, and a DBA degree from Hokkaido University in Japan.<\/p>\n

He is an editorial board member of various international academic journals and a member of several international academic associations, many of which are based in Japan.<\/p>\n

He has taught various programmes at WITS Business School, Business School in Fontainebleau, France (INSEAD), University of Cape Town Business School, and China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). His work has resulted in numerous publications in scholarly journals and international conference proceedings.<\/p>\n

Other speakers will include Standard Bank Chief Executive and President of Business Eswatini, Mvuselelo Fakudze, Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation Chief Financial Officer and Eclectic Director, Lungile Nxumalo, MTN Eswatini Head of Corporate Services, Sibusiso Nhleko and MTN Board Member and Finance Practitioner, David Dlamini. When sought for comment on LGF\u2019s first event of the year, Mncedzi Ngomane, the Co-Founder, said the initiative was motivated by the inspirational leadership of the late.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is one of the great corporate leaders that the country has produced in recent times- therefore the LGF saw it befitting to celebrate and honour his leadership while keeping his legacy alive. We also want to use his life and experience as a learning opportunity for young and upcoming leaders,\u201d explained Ngomane.<\/p>\n

The LGF co-founder further explained that the theme was based on one of Dlamini\u2019s leadership traits, saying his leadership was grounded by a strong belief and commitment to serving the people he led. \u201cWe believe it will present an opportunity for all leaders who will attend the lecture to reflect on the essence of leading through serving.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople should expect to learn about one of our own great leaders who was born and raised in Eswatini. Attendees will learn about the impact he had in multi-national organisations through demonstrating sound leadership. Most of all attendees will get to take key leadership lessons.\u201d<\/p>\n
