This tightly contested league clash took place under floodlights at Mavuso Sports Centre, with approximately 500 passionate fans in attendance. The victory for the \u2018Weslians\u2019 not only lifted them off the bottom of the league table, but also propelled them to the 11th spot with 11 points from 14 games. On the other hand, Green Mamba\u2019s chance to open an impressive five-point gap was denied, although they remain at the top with 27 points from 14 games.<\/p>\n

For Manzini Wanderers, these three points are not just celebrated as a win, but also as an extremely important victory. It marks their first win against the formidable Green Mamba since 2014. Moreover, it serves as sweet revenge after their 3-0 loss in the first round encounter. As the game approached the final whistle, with the Ernest Mavuso-led charges seemingly heading for a draw, Wanderers struck like a bolt of lightning during the five minutes of added time.<\/p>\n

Captain \u2018Mlaba\u2019 led by example, receiving a pass from Linda Msibi on the right flank. He unleashed a powerful shot from 40 yards out, catching Green Mamba goalkeeper Xolani Gama off guard.
