Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Prime Minister (PM) Russell Dlamini melted the hearts of Facebook users when he revealed how he moved up the ladder from being a petrol attendant to where he is now.<\/b><\/p>\n

He encouraged young people to focus on their goals and work hard to achieve them. Dlamini shared this message on his social media pages. The PM\u2019s post sparked a debate among social media users. Dlamini\u2019s story resonated with many people who shared that they faced similar struggles.<\/p>\n

Attendant<\/b><\/p>\n

He shared that his first job in 1992 was being a petrol attendant at Rob\u2019s Filling Station in Matsapha.Dlamini stated that he had just finished high school and was waiting to start his university studies. \u201cTo our young people, I want to say that it doesn\u2019t matter where you start. Focus on your goals and work hard to achieve them,\u201d Dlamini said. He went on to acknowledge that unemployment was a serious issue in the country, but it was the priority of government to create an environment that would bring good, sustainable jobs for the people.<\/p>\n

Courageous<\/b><\/p>\n

After the post, Facebook went abuzz, with users appreciating the PM for the courageous message. One user thanked him for sharing his past. The user said there was a need to address all the burning issues raised during Sibaya. Another user shared that the PM\u2019s message gave hope to young people. The user said Dlamini was the first premier to give them hope. Adding, another user said as a country, they were looking forward to a change that would be implemented by Dlamini. The user shared that his first job after high school was also being a petrol attendant at Ngonini Filling Station, in 1998. The user said Dlamini\u2019s message was a sign that he would be a PM in future.<\/p>\n
