Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini will consult with the office of the Attorney General regarding the probe of the Master of the High Court.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Law Society of Eswatini yesterday met the Prime Minister at Cabinet Offices in Hospital Hill, Mbabane. During the meeting, the Law Society expressed its unhappiness about the on-going probe of the Master of the High Court.<\/p>\n

Dlamini said he had the honour of meeting the Law Society of Eswatini in the presence of the Honourable Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, HRH Prince Simelane, at the Private and Cabinet Office.<\/p>\n

According to the premier, during the meeting, the Law Society updated him on their position regarding the ongoing Judicial Inquiry into the Master\u2019s Office. The Law Society further pledged their full support to Government and disassociated themselves from any insinuations that worked against the State in any way.<\/p>\n

The PM encouraged the Law Society to be patriotic and challenged them to ensure that the legislations that the country had were still relevant and were convenient for Eswatini as a cultural society.<\/p>\n

Regarding their position on the probe, the premier urged the Law Society to formalise their grievances. \u201cI further urged them to formalise their reservations about the ongoing judicial inquiry, in writing, so that we can look at how these can be addressed, in consultation with the Attorney General\u2019s Office,\u201d Dlamini said.<\/p>\n

On another note, the Prime Minister had the pleasure of receiving the Executive Management and Board of Trustees of the Public Service Pension Fund in the presence of the Honourable Minister of Public Service, Mabulala Maseko. \u201cDuring the courtesy visit, I was briefed about the operations of the Fund. I challenged PSPF to find ways in which they can increase their investments in big projects in the country,\u201d Dlamini advised.<\/p>\n
