Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The first leg of the Master Classes with veteran producer, sound designer, mixing and mastering engineer, and music analyst Ziyawakazitha Matsenjwa was a success.<\/b><\/p>\n

The master classes were held at the Eyethu Building in Manzini from 11 am to 1 pm. It was attended by sound engineers, producers, and musicians. The master classes were held over two days. Some of the topics discussed included sound review, production, and ear training.<\/p>\n

When reached for comment, Matsenjwa said, \u201cThe first edition went well. The guys were excited and showed zeal. I was really humbled by the attendance. The majority of those who came through were producers and those still learning. The main objective was to look into areas where they are lacking in terms of engineering, sound, and performance,\u201d said Matsenjwa.<\/p>\n

He shared with the publication that their main objective is to teach them how to go about clean production and have clear sound. To minimise loudness. He went on to invite the entertainment industry, film performers, and sound engineers to attend Part 2, which will be held next month at a date yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

In a previous interview, he stated that the purpose of the master class was to empower aspiring engineers and producers. To teach them how to meet the standards of production. He revealed that it has killed our industry to rush the process of making music without the knowledge of how to meet international standards for a good-quality product.<\/p>\n

Matsenjwa went on to say he wants to educate and empower aspiring sound engineers and producers about music as a business as well. He shared that sound is clarity and quality, not volume. Connecting frequency, not loudness.<\/p>\n

He also expressed gratitude to those who helped and said, \u201cI would like to show appreciation to Makabongwe \u201cGatjisto\u201d Magongo and Slotta, for their production journey presentation as part of the master class. Drimzmultimedia for Visuals and photography too,\u201d said Matsenjwa<\/p>\n

When asked how one registers to attend the second master class, he said interested people should RSVP to get all the necessary details, including the venue. To register, one can follow him on Facebook.<\/p>\n
