Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The draw for the Ingwenyama Cup semi-finals is yet to be conducted and interesting match-ups are expected.<\/b><\/p>\n

A number of fans are calling for the Mbabane derby.<\/p>\n

Capital city giants Mbabane Swallows and Mbabane Highlanders may be drawn against security forces teams in the semis and they might also play against each other. That is possible.<\/p>\n

The date for the draw is yet to be announced by the organising committee.<\/p>\n

Apart from the two traditional giants, the other teams still in this competition are army side Young Buffaloes and Correctional Services ensemble Green Mamba.<\/p>\n

Fans have taken time to share how they want the Ingwenyama Cup draw to come out.<\/p>\n

Fans of the two Mbabane giants can brace themselves for the reality that one of the two teams or both might not be in the final of the country’s richest football tournament, the Ingwenyama Cup.<\/p>\n

They are also salivating at the prospect of a Mbabane derby in the finals.<\/p>\n

Mbabane Swallows supporter Bheki Dlamini said he was happy that his team made it to the semifinals after beating Pigg\u2019s Peak Rangers 4-0.<\/p>\n

He said he was praying that they picked Mbabane Highlanders in the semi-finals draw.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited that we will be playing in the semi-finals and I am crossing my fingers that we play against Highlanders. As supporters, we are always excited when these teams play against each other. I cannot wait for the draw.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said it would not be easy against the security forces teams in Young Buffaloes and Green Mamba.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreen Mamba and Buffaloes have quality and experience. I don\u2019t think Highlanders can beat any of the other two teams.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut it will be exciting if we can beat the forces teams then meet in the finals,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mbabane Highlanders fan Nathi Khoza said his team had a great game against Mbabane Swallows in the league and he was hoping they meet again in the Ingwenyama Cup semi-finals.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is very nice to play Swallows because we always give them a tough time. I am sure everyone is looking forward to the draw and I can be happy if we can get Swallows. \u201cSupporters will be coming in big numbers and hopefully our teams will meet in the semi-finals. You never know what will happen if we can beat them.\u201d Other supporters from both teams also shared their excitement on social media about the possibility of the two teams facing each other in the semi-finals of the Ingwenyama Cup.<\/p>\n
