Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA) and the Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority (ESWACAA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalise their collaboration on disaster preparedness and response in the aviation sector.<\/b><\/p>\n

The two organisations have pledged to share knowledge, expertise, and resources to strengthen disaster management efforts in Eswatini. This partnership will enable the two organisations to work together to reduce the impact of disasters on aviation operations and the wider community. The MoU also outlines the specific areas of cooperation, including information sharing, and risk assessment.<\/p>\n

In a statement the two organisations said, \u201cBy working together, we aim to bolster our collective capacity to effectively manage and mitigate disasters that may impact the aviation sector and the general public.\u201d The MoU represents a formal commitment to share knowledge, expertise, and resources between the two organisations.<\/p>\n

Through the MoU, the NDMA and the ESWACAA have pledged to share knowledge, expertise, and resources to improve disaster management in Eswatini. This exchange of information will enable both organisations to identify and assess risks, develop emergency management plans, and conduct training. In addition, the MoU emphasises the importance of effective communication and the timely sharing of information. The two organisations believe that by working together, they can ensure the safety and resilience of aviation infrastructure, as well as the well-being of the people of Eswatini.<\/p>\n
