Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The honeymoon has been cut short for new Manzini Wanderers head coach Ikabort Masocha as the ongoing financial crisis at the team rears its ugly head.<\/b><\/p>\n

The situation at the Weslians ‘Temple’ has not spared anyone, as it has also hit hard on the newly-appointed head coach.<\/p>\n

The Zimbabwe-born mentor revealed this when contacted about their clash against Madlenya over the weekend.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can only say that the team has not been training in the past few days, and I don\u2019t expect any good performance from such a situation. That is an honest truth as we all want Wanderers to move out of the dangerous zone, but it is only wishes as we are not helping the cause,\u201d said Masocha.<\/p>\n

The coach said he felt bad after the team recently elevated him to the head coach position, yet immediately things were not okay, which will impact negatively on the results, reflecting badly on him as the head coach.<\/p>\n

Masocha said it was sad that the new developments were not clearly communicated to him. \u201cI waited for almost 45 minutes at the training ground, only to be informed later that there was no training.<\/p>\n

Even on Tuesday, I realised that the cancellation of the training session was made by management and not the players, which is really sad,\u201d said the coach. With the crisis in the \u2018Weslians,\u2019 Lubombo-based side Madlenya seem to have their wish granted on a silver platter, as they look forward to completing the season with a 100 per cent win rate over the hub giants.<\/p>\n

This will be when the two side lock horns at Ka-Langa Technical Centre on Saturday after the two sides also met twice, with Madlenya emerging victorious in both games, being a league game and Ingwenyama Cup Last 16. Madlenya head coach William ‘Masondeza’ Gamedze declared the game as a must-win for his side.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are out for a win against Wanderers.<\/p>\n

\u201cActually, we need this win to boost our players confidence following that we have not performed well since the second round started. Winning this game will help us find our formula again,\u201d said Gamedze<\/p>\n

The coach revealed that he was expecting a full squad against the maroon and white ensemble, with no injuries in his camp so far.<\/p>\n
