Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Baipidi Karabo, the Acting Country Director of the Institute for Development Management(IDM) is allegedly preparing to dismiss Information Technology(IT) Technician Cebisa Motsa for allegedly participating in the recent Tinkhundla elections after being nominated to stand as Kwaluseni Member of Parliament(MP).<\/b><\/p>\n

As a result,Motsa has been served with a letter dated 22nd February 2024 containing a list of charges and according to the charge sheet, the disciplinary hearing will be held on the 29th February 2024 at the IDM Eswatini Campus.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou participated in political national elections without relinquishing your employment at IDM this in breach of policy 3HRP 01 clause 3.13.2\u201d, reads the charge sheet in part.<\/p>\n

Efforts to reach the IDM Country Director proved unsuccessful as he had not responded to our questionnaire.<\/p>\n

Cebisa Motsa, the IDM Technician who was nominated as Kwaluseni Member of Parliament(MP) declined to comment about the matter,pending the disciplinary hearing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t comment about the matter as I\u2019m yet to appear for a disciplinary hearing\u201d, said the IDM Information Technology(IT) Technician.<\/p>\n
