Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>The required number of people who want to do business through the Regional Development Fund (RDF) should be reduced to five.<\/b><\/p>\n

Currently, the RDF requires that at least 10 people should come together and form an organisation so that they could be able to access funding from the RDF.<\/p>\n

The MPs said the five people would be better because working in a group of many people was difficult. LaMgabhi MP Sicelo Jele was the first one to raise such a matter.<\/p>\n

He pleaded for the number to be reduced to at least five people. He hoped that Minister for Tinkhundla Administration and Development would take that concern into consideration.<\/p>\n

Mayiwane MP Sicelo Dlamini, who was chairing the debate, chatting with Motshane MP Wilton Nkambule and Ntfonjeni MP Raymond Dlamini.<\/p>\n

Motshane MP Wilton Nkambule also shared Jele\u2019s sentiments. Nkambule even jokingly said he suspected that Jele had read his mind when talking about this matter.<\/p>\n

Nkambule, as a businessman himself, was of the view that 10 people could not work together in a business venture because they rarely had the same vision. He said businesses were started because those who started it had a vision.<\/p>\n

Sithobela MP Mancoba Sihlongonyane also also shared the same sentiments with MPs Nkambule and Jele. He said there were a few businesses, if any, that were able to thrive under these conditions. He pleaded with the Ministry of Tinkhundla to help by reducing the number to five.<\/p>\n
