The above Bible verse sounds true to financial services provider Select Limited as they sponsored the Eswatini Schools Sports Association (ESSA) to the tune of E30 000. The event, which was graced by Select Limited Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bheki Dlamini, ESSA President Zakhele Myeni as well as some of the executive members Felicity Dlamini and Lucky Dlamini was held at the company premises yesterday. Also present was the Ministry of Education and Training Inspector Thandi Nkambule as well as Select\u2019s General Manager (GM) Sakhile Zwane, Marketing Manager Nomcebo Ginindza and Sales Manager Gugu Dlamini.<\/p>\n

The CEO in his remarks said when ESSA approached them formally regarding the sponsorship, they did not hesitate to commit their assistance. \u201cWe are delighted today to announce the sponsorship of E30 000 to Eswatini Schools Sports Association,\u201d Dlamini said. He revealed that it was in the DNA of Select to assist school children as they believed they were the future leaders of the country as per their slogan \u2018Sikhula Nawe\u2019. He said this was not the first time they partnered with schools as they had been sponsoring school athletics at regional level for a number of years. \u201cAs a business, we have decided to spread our wings to support schools at national level,\u201d he added. Dlamini further said it was worth mentioning that teachers and the ministry were their biggest clients, therefore, in all their CSI and sponsorship campaigns they made it a point that they prioritised them.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe and hope that our relationship will continue for many years and will grow in leaps and bounds,\u201d he concluded. Meanwhile, Myeni said the sponsorship would go a long way in benefitting the children as the core beneficiaries of the \u2018marriage\u2019 they had with Select. \u201cThis money will be used in the regional championships next month,\u201d Myeni said. On the other hand, Inspector Nkambule thanked Select for choosing to partner with schools as sports played a huge role in the upbringing of children.<\/p>\n
