Africa-Press – Eswatini. <\/strong><\/span>Apostle Justice Dlamini of Worship Centre has encouraged women in his church to wear G-strings and enjoy fresh air.<\/b><\/p>\n

The debate on whether women should wear the G-strings or not started when a pastor posted on his social media pages, telling women to remove such underwear from their wardrobes. According to the pastor, God does not approve the wearing of G-strings as such was associated with disobedience to the Almighty.<\/p>\n

Sermon<\/b><\/p>\n

Apostle Justice brought the issue up during his sermon last Sunday. He said he was also contacted by certain people and asked to shed clarity on the issue, while he was outside the country. He encouraged women at his church to wear G-strings and enjoy fresh air. The apostle asked pastors in his church to tell him what Mary, Maria and Martha wore, because according to his understanding, they wore nothing underneath but only long dresses, because they wanted fresh air. He asked; \u201cWhat is better, to wear a G-string or nothing at all.\u201d He said these women of God lived holy lives and were in Heaven. Dlamini said there was an argument by some men of the cloth that women who wore G-strings were going to hell. He asked some of the pastors in his church about the type of underwear women of biblical age wore.<\/p>\n

The apostle said the answer was that these women of God did not wear any underwear, save for long dresses without anything underneath. \u201cAll these women are in Heaven. If you have a G-string, just wear it,\u201d said the man of God. According to Dlamini, one does not wear a G-string to parade in town. He said the underwear was called a G-string because it has been made to cover part of the body in order for those wearing it to get fresh air. He said the assertion made by those pastors who were against it was that people should remove their clothes to see what they were wearing underneath.<\/p>\n

Underwear<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is underwear and is not worn as a crown on the head.\u201d When asked to comment on the issue, the Conference of Churches Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Themba Ngozo, said he could only comment in his personal capacity. Ngozo warned people not to take seriously anything that was spoken by the pastor who raised such a topic. He said there was nothing wrong with the G-string as it was worn underneath, adding that women should wear anything they were comfortable with, as long as no one would see through their clothes on what they were wearing. The CEO said likewise with men, they wore their underwear and puts a trouser on top.<\/p>\n
